SDI’s First Response Command Plans™ quickly gets key building information to first responders, providing a simple tool to allow on-site teams to make emergency response decisions. By using state-of-the-art technologies, FRCPs ease the reliance on building personnel for information on building nuances and system locations, allowing emergency teams to immediately identify key logistical information en route or upon arriving onsite—saving time and lives. From fire and police departments to building management, emergency responders and building tenants benefit from a standardized information format throughout the response area. Almost all necessary information is within eyesight—no page flipping required. And the Plan format integrates seamlessly with high-rise Emergency Plan books already in place. The customizable Plans, which are produced both as a laminated pamphlet and electronically for mobile devices typically include:

  • Building Contact Info and Highlighting Building-Specific Critical Information (i.e., fire control panel location)
  • General Building System Description (Elevator, Stairwells, Sprinkler Risers, Smoke Control Systems, Mechanical Systems/Overrides, Hazmat Locations)
  • Entry Level/Lobby Floor Plan (Siamese connections, active/inactive elevators, stairs, fire control panel locations)
  • Elevator/Stair Run Diagram (Crossovers and unique floor layouts, vanity stairwells, active/inactive elevators/stairwells)
  • Individuals Requiring Assistance Listing (Disability type, location)
  • Typical Floor Plan (Critical emergency information by floor)
  • 3 Block Radius GIS Staging Map (Hydrant locations, adjacent building footprints, schools/elderly housing)

To create an accurate FRCP, SDI’s IRespondSM Program brings together information across multiple departments and across the building community providing:

  • Tailored data standards based on responses department specifications
  • Communication with participating buildings and associations
  • Field collection of building data by the SDI Team
  • Digitization of building information
  • First Response Command Plan™ book production, distribution and data storage
  • Maintenance and support for up-to-date building data

SDI's unique combination of over 19 years of working knowledge in the real estate industry and our emergency response technology expertise enables us to deliver these concise data tools that make a real difference.
